The deal is done! The DEAL IS SEALED! The citizens of Puddleby have concluded armor purchase agreement with Melabrion! Puddleby will be enjoying the fine art of armor smithing after the next Chaos Storm!

I want to thank everyone for their patience with my tardiness, which was due to some last minute problems with the music. As you may have heard, the music was a little free-formed at the end of the song. Yeah, so what of it. :)

I would like to publicly thank Perkusi for her critical help with the gitor chords and musical advice, and Ayella for her ass-kicking (and ass-saving) lyric macro. Thanks also to Aldernon, Saereth, Garr and Fundin for their behind the scenes support. A very special thanks to Melabrion, his family, and his lurking shadowy servants for making this deal possible.

You know what? I absolutely forgot to list the name of the three songs! They are: Melabrion's Brambleberry Beer; Tapping the Keg; A Wink and a Handshake. All three were played together as one song (much like Celtic/Irish music).

For those of you who missed the event, the lyrics to "Melabrion's Brambleberry Beer" are provided below.

Verse 1:

Me and the dwarves
were on the wharves
and staring at the sea
We reminisced
of friends we missed
who sailed from Puddleby

We listed the names
of the dudes and the dames
who had left throughout the year
and
depressed and resigned
we just wanted a stein
of some Brambleberry beer,
beer, beer, beer,
Beer, BEER BEER!!!

Verse 2:

Now Mel'brion
had chanced upon
our melancholy crew
"Why, I can tell
your hearts", cried Mel,
"have broken into two!"

We told him our grieving
was due to the leaving
of friends we loved so dear,
but
we caught his attention
when casually mentioned
the Brambleberry beer,
beer, beer, beer,
Beer, BEER BEER!!!

Verse 3:

Mel rubbed his eyes
"I sympathize
to losing friends so fine,
and Brambleberry
beer's a very
favorite beer of mine!

A brew that's so rare
I would happily share
for occasions so sincere
Please
permit me to host
and to friends we shall toast
with some Brambleberry beer,
beer, beer, beer,
Beer, BEER BEER!!!"

Verse 4:

So, friends were praised
and steins were raised;
the keg was slowly drained
We laughed and thought
of friends which brought
some closure to our pain

Those couple of hours
in Mel'brion's towers
had brought some welcomed cheer

By
the end of the night
we were filled with delight
and our spirits were lifted
from Mel'brion's gift and

the fact
that the cask
was his last
we were never to hear --

He gave us much more than just
Brambleberry beer, beer, BEER!!!
