Shorten the peaceton boat trip

Post by Fundin » Sun Oct 30, 2005 7:31 am

Ok, there might be other ways to get there we havent yet found, but based on current common knowledge, i feel the trip time should be drastically shortened for a number of reasons. The main one being to stop it fragmenting the populace, and causing the area to be little used.

I know its only been around a while, and tweaks might be made, bu this poll is just to see how others feel.

There are lots of other optons to add like make events happen, how much shorter should it be, but this poll is just a black and white version. Other polls can be made if people want :)

Also close, as the trip is indeed shortened.

Ahem ahem could be made another 3/4 shorter though...

... or an advanced lib could be there.

I'd like the entire round trip shortened.

I don't have as much trouble with the time it takes to get to and from Peaceton. The problem I have is that it seems like the boat stays docked now just as long as it did before. So the actual travel time is relatively short (considering what it used to be), but if you're planning a trip there and the boat shows up and you go "Oh goodie, I'll be there in 6 ooc hours," then you're wrong because the boat sticks around for a rather long time before it actually takes off.

The in-port stays are halved for the next update. I don't see the limbo rod going any lower for this trip.

The port stay is halved for this update. As far as I'm concerned, this is completed.
