Maybe we should "discover" a boat to Peaceton

Post by Haffron » Mon Mar 28, 2005 1:44 pm

Back in my prime, cough, I had one of them their tickets to Peaceton. But I apparently wasted my money. Where the hell is is that ship! Lets just imagine what Peaceton would be like....

Much as I may agree with you (looking at my ticket that is so frayed it's falling apart)... time to move on... ain't gonna happen. "Issues", dead end, too weak now, unfinished, GM-developer bailed, dillute town too much. Beating a dead horse here... etc. etc. ad naseum. :)

Is it time to move on with all the other "dead end" quests, too?

Oooh! A ghost ship to a ghost town! All is not peaceful in Peaceton.
Or maybe do it VeggieTales style, Peaston!

I would have at least provided an area with a half-sunken cruise ship full of undine to explain the boat's non-arrival, with catchy pipe-organ music in the background. Into the flooded depths a party might find a crusty old metal-sheeted journal that describes the ill fated voyage, and the last days of the SS Peaceton, with contrived ideas for what repercussions might have followed suit. Something like "If we don't get help, the town will perish" etc, etc.

I like it. Next time we find a new area that involves any coast line (we have GOT to be close to getting to the far side of the island) we should find this.

No undead pirate ship is complete without the Ghost Pirate Lechuck.

We have our boat to Peaceton, now if only we could move Peaceton closer. ;)

Close?
