Builders now required to *maintain* existing sites

Post by Maeght » Sun Jun 26, 2011 1:51 pm

Romanus is collecting wood and stone at East Gate to refurb the road.
Romanus says, "Greetings, Maeght. I am collecting building materials and coins for repairing the road to the University."
Now there is another builder in the tunnel to the University that is collecting donations for maintenance. The tunnel is already partially collapsed.
Grum says, "Greetings, Maeght. I am collecting building materials and coins for maintenance to the tunnel."
Thanks to Magnic for pointing this out to me.

I guess exiles should be prepared to "maintain" any other locations that have been created by builders.

ROFL.

This is not how builders are supposed to be used.

If it ain't broke, break it. - GM motto. ;)

Isn't it the explicit goal of some GMs to have everything wear down with time?

Actually, the tunnel can be rather useful in invasions, but I don't think the usefulness or lack of same is the point here.

Screw that. May as well just donate to Prometha almost. At least that's more convenient.

Prometha's where all my stuff goes. I've asked, pleaded & begged for a reasonable alternative.

Hysterical that the virtual world of CL is going where the real world of CL has gone. Near useless due to lack of proper maintenance.

i suggested donate to prometha so she could make a bon fire in town or something and maintain it. but i guess they dont like the idea of anything that would beautify town or make it more interesting

Hardwood Refinishing Services is a great way to recover beauty of your home which may have lay hidden underneath dirt and grime or covered with a carpet for years.

Lol Sorry I can't dump spam from OOC forum. But I guess it's good for a laugh. It *is* about builders...

If he doesn't show me his race, I'm not buying his floor!

And back to the topic:

Do you still get experience for donating to the builders who are doing maintenance?

I was told this is just a partial collapse, and doesn't impede movement along the tunnel, so I am not as "outraged" as I would have been. Maybe it's for people who are tired of giving to the bonfire and want something close to town.

I hope that's the case, but Romanus was already taking donations and is right there at the east gate wall.

It *is* better than the Mystic Academy cave in.
