Dear Garden Portal 'Tards

Post by noivad » Thu Aug 12, 2010 1:28 pm

Dear portal moving 'tards (that insist on the portal being just steps from falinea's garden entry),

Please keep the portal toward the eastern side of the Garden, because wen you pull it to the West side people on chains get portaled when you bring them back to town fallen. Meaning sometimes they get portaled off as soon as they're risen with one pixel of health back to CD -- where they're likely to fall again.

So stop moving the portal to the west side of the garden. Just because your lazy ass can't click run for 30 more feet, doesn't mean the portal should be closer than the 3rd or 4th pillar in the garden. (In fact I think it should be no closer than the edge of the pool.)

This has been a public service announcement from the Citizens for the Sensible Placement of the Portal.

Dear other portal 'tards,

Stop sticking the portal in places that are hard to see. Like behind pillars or on the far side of the pond, allllll the way into the Garden. I hate having to search for where the portal is.

Right against the snell border is dumb, I agree. But I'm not pushing it much farther than the 3rd pillar, and if it's farther than that I run it closer.

Dear everyone,

The location of the portal is determined by social consensus. There is nothing stopping anyone from moving the portal some place far worse than behind a beam in Falina's Garden.

Oh, no one would *ever* do that.

Because the OP put it in this forum and only you care about it being in the "wrong" forum rather than what point it's trying to convey.

Well I wouldn't care if it didn't adversely affect others on chains. it's usually someone on the end of my chain that gets sucked back in. Sure there's a workaorund but it requires re-chaining usually.

I also feel that everyone who ever disagrees with me or does something I don't like is developmentally disabled! Rabble rabble rabble!
“However,” said Dumbledore, speaking very slowly and clearly so that none of them could miss a word, “you will find that I will only truly have left this school when none here are loyal to me.”
