Date displays for this forum

Post by Phineas » Mon Mar 22, 2004 5:09 pm

Am I the only one having problems with the "last post" dates within this forum?

If I do not sign in, I can see the time/date of the last posting (example: Mon Mar 22, 2004 2:57 pm). Once I sign in, most of the dates change, looking like this: Tue Mar 04 3:57.

So, what gives? How do I sign in and have the "last post" date display not change? Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks!

You must have the wrong settings in your profile. Click the 'profile' link at the top of the this page, then scroll to the bottom and set your timezone.

[edit: Rats, beaten again.]

Check your profile, you may have a strange time zone set to your personal settings. If that's not it, I have no idea. ;)

You had your timezone as GMT+5. I changed it.

Please verify that I changed it to the correct value.

Didn't work.

Here is what it looks like when I am logged in/logged out:

How puzzling. For now, I'll just log in when I need to post a comment.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Right below where you select the timezone, there is a box to set the date format, try entering this if it is different:

D M d, Y g:i a
