Re: Estuary mountain

hmm a work around would be to remove the eligibility to get credit for the tag unless you are unmorphed while doing so. Adds a bit of the notion that if you cant hit it normally, you cant study it as easily. IMO that would be a fair trade, and save time for the party over all, as well as making hunt...

Re: Estuary mountain

sounds like you guys are talking about the same probs you find in D&D which is.. finding a group of people who share similar gaming styles so you can all play in a compatible manner. Not so much a prob with game mechanics as much as a diversity of tastes and personalities trying to mingle and have f...

Re: Estuary mountain

I just went on this hunt recently for the first time and really enjoyed it. Personally when it comes to tagging, as a fighter that closes his eyes and swings wildly (wiffs alot), I prefer to not hold up the hunt trying to tag, and instead get them where I can and encounter more beasts.. more monster...

Re: Chest Drop Exp

Noivad- I think what you suggested is perfect. As i understand it now, the exp per chest is pretty constant independent of coin/monster difficulty. Anything that gives the feeling that a tougher monster has a more valuable chest. The random scripts still leave it to chance, which is always a good th...

Re: Chest Drop Exp

Boss in Est: I'm only using word of mouth, and the observable data that I have gone into est on breakthrough, fought a bunch of vanqs and got chest without ranking. It's not exactly super data but seemed like it wasn't particularly significant. Boss= difficult. Tagging exp = huge Exp from chest= not...

Re: Phantasm Change: using mouse control

After April Fool's day, there was a quest to get a ugly critter that does no damage but can run around when you let it out of a jar.. it's freaky looking, but also entertaining to some people due to the direct control they have over it. The way to control it is to use the mouse and wherever the posi...

Re: Chest Drop Exp

Actually Daim that's a good simple idea.. maybe the elimination of the exp division would be a decent fix.. Sproutfoot- my real observation on this issue arises in the estuary. The Boss is not particularly easy to beat, and there is a reasonably large coin chest when it is beaten. However, the •You ...

Chest Drop Exp

Simple suggestion.. prolly been said before, and I know I hear this in game all the time The exp from chests should be scaled proportionately to the coins dropped. For example, a 10c chest would have 10 units of exp, while a 250c chest would have 250 units. This way every chest that is popped will g...

Re: Healers - the Lack of Them is starting to be a Big Problem

fair enough.. i still see complaining when it comes to other players as a bit of a moot point. Ideally any style of hunting should be available.. It seems like bullshit drama to get mad at each other personally

Re: Healers - the Lack of Them is starting to be a Big Problem

uhh who gives a shit how someone you dont hunt with prefers to hunt? Play how you like.. try to make the most people happy when designing ideas, and try to /bug any serious glitches.. I want a game where you can min/max and roleplay, and have full customization of your character, depending on what y...

Well since champs use stonegirdle, I can see damage taken being a legitimate factor for champs

I'm sure everyone is comfortable with sharing their info on this site, otherwise they wouldnt post it, but perhaps it would be best to make this thread locked to those who aren't logged in? As a public site, it allows people to access it via google searches, and access personal information. Just a t...
