Re: Stora's absence

Gut reaction...heat issue w/ the iBook.

Shame I have 2 (4 if you count the 2 wallstreets) *OLD* CL capable machines that need homes but aren't in a state to ship yet...and probably not capable of an OS anyone would like anyway ;)

Good luck to you!

Re: Arindal Dying - Can it be saved?

Well...I had no idea it was 10 ranks that the those NPC's spent when visited. Do they actually say that somewhere or is that a derived number someone did some testing on? If we know it to be 10, then that's fine, just so long as everyone knows ;) (I'd still not trust it myself...but then, I'm a para...

Re: Arindal Dying - Can it be saved?

I no longer have an Arindal character, so not too concerned. I like versitility though, so I'm in favor of whatever would give our new friends the most options and control over how they want to play/count/train/etc. I never knew it was 10 ranks per "speed trainer" visit. Ald has never visited a "spe...

Re: Arindal Dying - Can it be saved?

Really? Imagine having a bank of 1000 ranks stored up. What would your slaughter be? How long would it take to actually spend those ranks? So for that entire time we force our new friends to hunt w/o any benefit at extreme slaughter? Um, there are at least two NPCs in the library that I can think o...

Re: Dual-Boxing and ClanLord

Maybe remove shares altogether (perhaps this should only be fighter shares or fighters sharing fighters?) and add streaming-world experience equivalent to free library over the time period an exile is clanning. If they gain more than that during their clanning session, they get the experience gained...

Re: Heen

We have a "spirit" trainer....Crato blah-de-blah. He must be French. Don't you regen by picking up blood drops? We try, but the actuality is it requires blood from a vanquish to really be noticeable. I cannot remember the last time I vanquished anything...possibly the captured Ice Myr in the test?

Re: Dual-Boxing and ClanLord

When there is injustice, I am going to speak. Saying nothing means people don't hear what is going on, means that nothing changes. Why wouldn't you speak? I wouldn't and haven't spoken up when suspected of an infraction because I knew I was borderline what may be accepted. I've never had any obviou...

Re: Heen

He does have a lot of spirit. Does his shieldstone break often? Oh, and at my last count, I still had more "spirit trainer" than he did. That is unless he trained about 70ish more since we talked about it. edit: Oh and yes I was talking about those trainers. I don't know if bloodmages have one for ...

Re: Dual-Boxing and ClanLord

Anyway, sounds like it sucks being caught doing something that a particular GM frowned on. It's not "one particular gm." The list that Slarti pointed to in this thread came out of a discussion amongst GMs. This is not "one gm acting capriciously." This is a GM catching something egregious and takin...

Re: Dual-Boxing and ClanLord

They can't make it more clear that it's against the rules. It's against the rules for PeEll. Not so much for others. Sounds more like it's against the rules for all, but we can only act if we catch you. Much like...jaywalking, or not using a turn-signal, or speeding, or driving w/o insurance, or dr...

Re: Healer incentives

I find playing a healer almost as enjoyable as playing a ranger. The only reason I play as a ranger is I can actually do things when nothing else is going on. When I casually log in as a healer and want to do something, nothing's available, or no one's looking, etc. So I find my only clanning times ...

But then you have to check if you have posted more than once, and delete the duplicates (which I think you can't if someone else posts after) Nope, don't care if it double posts...don't have the time to double check, just like I didn't have the hour+ to spend trying to get the effing thing to post ...
