Re: What are YOUR priorities for CL (in order of importance)

1. Get Joe to respond to inquiry about my forgotten password so I can jump online for a while.

2. Fail circle test

3. Head back into the library and wait for Crowfall and Albion to release.

I have to disagree. If you are having issues with south forest and things are dispatches, then your training is the issue.

Re: 10 Reasons to Adjust the Slaughter System

1. I went to the east forest and dispatched a bunch of creatures... these included bloodhawks (which I sometimes kill), giant vermine (which I sometimes kill), orgas, starbucks, vermine and a bunch of slaughterable creatures. I fell and had to depart. 2. I went under the city and did a mixture of k...

Re: The problem with lower level areas as I see it…

Sonny_Bill, I'm doing as you asked a while back. I started a new character and am doing the newbie experience. I don't see that anything has changed in the dozen or so years since I did it the last time. I don't know why you're experiencing the issues you are, but I suspect it's a combination of yo...

Re: Why are Mystics a class?

I sorta feel they should be weak, but have some really strong attacking magic. Very outside/n00b view, but IMO they need a way of staying alive. Healers have pets, fighters can fight (well some of them at least) and mystics can move their bloody cloud around/occasionally give people heaps of balanc...

Re: Why are Mystics a class?

Thats kind of funny Destian, I remember you being around for some of the ongoing east mountains storyline. Tho my memory can be hazy at times in terms of who was/wasn't there for things. I gave some materials to the builders, but I have no idea if there are any ongoing mysteries, who are the key pl...

Re: Thieve's Island

Locating known entities (ones that were named via in-game interaction/hints/etc), yes. Skrying via /skry a, /skry b, /skry c, is stretching the point of the tool. Great. Glad someone's finally doing something good with that ability. Yes, awesome that some are borderline abusing game mechanics. Bravo.

Re: Why are Mystics a class?

Motion to allow the Daimoth character to from here on out train mystic tool ranks at the rate befitting his level.

Dai, you seem very eager to gimp yourself via tertiary ranks. Have at it. :)

Re: Thieve's Island

Spoiler Alert, do not read below if you do not want more info on Thieve's For those of you saying I "spoiled" the fun in solving a near impossible mystery to solve by yourself. I did say the above. I didn't vomit this without warning. I agree with Kani, that maybe this should have been put into OOC...

Re: Thieve's Island

Posting stuff like that here is a spoiler. Playing the game with spoilers is worse than cheating at solitaire. I'm not even talking about the spoiler (which is completely meaningless to me, TBH). I'm talking about giving mystics more to do on hunts so that they'd feel compelled to come out of the l...

Re: Thieve's Island

I did not ask for this information to be removed nor did I say that I think it should not be shared. In fact, I said I've shared this information and more and there are several ideas that I helped brainstorm already shared in this thread... What bothers me is the way it was shared. To use Kani's wo...

Re: Thieve's Island

Of course this isn't your fault, but this list is just a location of individuals with the skrystal. IIRS this very thing was frowned upon by DT, as some "NPCs" are game mechanic elements. Personally, if I had my druthers the skrystal would not be able to locate by name NPCs in snells that have yet ...

Re: An Open Letter to GMs and the Powers that Be

I love helping newbies but the problem is that, even with near constant devotion to their leveling needs, new players aren't likely to stick around because it'll still take them around a YEAR before they start being able to do anything on modern hunts (and that includes non-rangers specifically). M...
