Re: GM's respond if you still care.

I still care. I also don't participate much these days, but I do care.

Re: Server rolled back to October 15th

Specifically, to 8:30 PM PDT (GMT-7) on the 15th, for those of you tracking logs. Also, to compensate all the innocent players who were affected by this rollback, we've granted an experience bonus to everyone. You should have a few extra ranks' worth of experience waiting for you when you next log o...

Re: New Version currently sucky

With thanks to the Arindal development team for quick work, I've just posted a new Windows client that should fix the problems on XP. Unfortunately, that means that most of the improvements listed on the News page will be deferred until next update, when they can get everything working on all three ...

Re: New Version currently sucky

I've sent an email to the GM's list about the Windows problem. And I've forwarded it on to the Arindal developers, who provide our Windows version. It sounds like a missing DLL to me, but I know very little about the Windows client. If you wouldn't mind someone contacting you for more information, ...

The fix for the /part problem isn't exactly what messed up the range, but close enough. Anyway, it's all better (for some definition of "better" :)) now. Thanks for your patience, and for pointing out the problem.

Re: Balthite bug.

With the help of two of Puddleby's Champions, I'm developed the suspicion that Balthite doesn't work as advertised. I'm not ChampionGM, but I'll try to find some time to look into it. Please send me email or a PM with the names of the two test Champions, so I can try things out using their exact tr...

I have been discussing the situation with Mary Jane, and the GMs have been discussing what sort of solution, if any, to put into place. The first question, though, is, "What exactly is the problem?" (Well, actually, the first question is, "Is there a problem?" But in this case, t...

My macros require a /selectitem and a /name so I can keep my old school Bag of Kudzu Seedlings <#1>, Bag of Kudzu Seedlings <#2>. My macros tell me how much zu is in each bag without me having to pull up the inventory window. When the macro breaks I get: "You have no Bag of Kudzu Seedlings <#1>". C...

For what it's worth, I'm starting to think that instead of 'nearly worthless,' these potions are too powerful. When I saw a healer (Praetorius) get raised from maimed to yellow by the potion alone, I was a bit blown away. Granted, he's got a bit more Higgy training than most, but I'm not sure how I...

My assumption was that this was suppose to be a way for new folks and/or healers and mystics to get the advantage of armor because they couldn't really afford to buy "real" armor. Now you have taken it and made it useless to those of us who can't afford to have to replace it every couple of weeks a...

What sort of answer are you looking for? IC: Rockodile leather tends to shred along the grain. As it takes damage from a beast's claws or an enemy's blade, it acquires rips and tears. Attempting to stitch those tears back together only weakens the armor further by adding more needle holes at the new...

That's something I wish was an /option on the 'zubag. I'd turn it off. If your bag's name has a number in parentheses at the end, it'll keep the rest of the name when it updates the quantity inside. For instance, "Spare seeds (4)" will become "Spare seeds (5)" when you add another. Does that solve ...

Although the previous break chance was easily low enough to allow people to make money by fishing, contradicting most of the speculation and wild exaggeration in this thread, I've just lowered it to less than half its previous rate. It's also still affected by Loovma training, as it always has been....
