Re: Anti-Exile Ranger Trainer.

I didn't read any of this but I'm all in favor of making changes to encourage more CTF games -- those are great fun. I assume this means supporting whatever idea Gorvin has inevitably come up with.

I don't think that's so obvious. Clan Lord's graphics are the game's greatest asset. 3D is a good way to make a game look dated in a year's time.

The Clan Lord Macro Archive (clmacros.com) is back - sort of

Hi all, I've been around a little more often lately and have gotten many requests to bring the archive back, so, well, it is -- m BUT (of course there's a "but" ) I've currently disabled the ability to submit macros (spam is what brought the site down in the first place). The site is also ...

The 7th test seemed very well-done to me. Haze will pass it by a hair. I was expecting an easier test, but this is good. I failed the 8th test miserably. Which also seems good. When I passed the 5th test, the 6th test was miserable as well. I won't really be in a position to whine about the 8th test...

I am not an elite fighter but I have a little over 400, too. the reason many of us stopped at 400 was because... well, at the time there wasn't much to swing at beyond that mark. obviously it's a different case now.

Slartibartfast, I'm not around often enough to have any idea who you are, but thank you for working on the tests. I can't begin to imagine the level of whining and moaning that will follow their implementation, and I'd be lying if I said there's no chance I might join that chorus... but to finally r...

Re: Why some GM should depart...

And on a more personal note -- if you're that wound up over a single depart, perhaps it is you who should re-evaluate your relationship with Clan Lord, not the GM. Why the fuck do some people think that their "departs dont bother me" values should apply to everyone? Mother fuck that shit,...

Re: Why some GM should depart...

Manually creating some helpless situation so that real players have no other choice than a /depart is a stupid thing. Make sure more people get pissed and quit the lands. Brilliant idea. We need that. I'm not going to bother reading the rest of this thread, and I wasn't around for this, but this is...

clmacros.com isn't gone, I've just been busy.

in fact, a half-written new version has been sitting dormant for a little while now. I hope to get to it soon.

a temporary cleanup of the spam etc will happen in the next week or two, I've been planning on it. again, busy.

Compared to the leap from 7th to 8th, its not a big enough one.

Excuse me if I'm misreading you, but that suggests a problem with both tests, not a problem with the 7th test alone.

It's easy to do. Yes. - It's Joe's fault. I have nothing against Joe or the way (I think) he runs things, but you disagree with this? Why? Again, I don't know who is in charge of what, but I assume that it is Joe's decision to not hire someone to do the work that hasn't been done -- am I incorrect ...

I've had the displeasure of setting up osCommerce a few times, yes. Quite frankly, I only volunteered to do it because no one else was. So, by "you", I'm going to assume you mean Joe because I don't feel too much urge to do something that reeks of work. Luckily, a volunteer stepped forward...
